Is Hoook really free?
Yes. The desktop app, local agents, local models via Ollama, and your own connectors are free forever. You only pay when you need cloud sync, team collaboration, or cloud agents.
What counts as a "user" on Pro?
Any team member signed into a shared workspace. Everyone on your team using their own local-only workspace stays free.
Can I bring my own API keys?
Yes on every tier. Hoook passes through your Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or other provider keys — you pay the provider directly for model usage. We do not mark up tokens.
Do I need a cloud account to use Hoook?
No. Sign up is required to create a workspace (Clerk account), but everything works offline once signed in on the Free tier.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is monthly, cancel at any time. Your workspace reverts to Free — local data stays, cloud sync pauses.
